Spirit Light Pickups

The first pick up can be found just across the spikes from your current location.  Make use of double Spirit Light Pickupjump and wall jump to get across the spikes.

Second Spirit Light Pickup

The second Spirit Light pickup can be found above the ledge right after the purple energy beams you Spirit Light Pickupchased Gumo through before falling into his hideout.  Now that you have double jump you should be able to jump up and reach it.

Fifth Spirit Light Pickup

Finally from there we then make our back towards the Ginso Tree, collecting the fifth Spirit Light Spirit Light Pickuppick up above above a trench with toxic water at the bottom.  The Trench is blocked off by unstable ground, and since we don’t have slam yet we make use of the purple energy blast from the plant creature to break it open.

Once inside the Ginso Tree we make our way through the first section of the tree by heading north and killing all the purple thorns to the various wooden platforms before jumping onto them.

Making our Way Through the Second Section

The second portion of the Ginso Tree is pretty easy to get through, all we have to do is take our time here.Ginso Tree Second Section Wait until the thorny creature makes his way around the hanging platform then jump on top of the platform when its safe to do so. From the platform make your way through the glowing hollow logs that will teleport you to where you can reach the next platform, and if the creature is about to hit you while you are on the platform simply just jump over it as it approaches you.

Making our Way Through the Third Section

The third section of the Ginso Tree is simple a exercise of jumping through the glowing hollow logs that will teleport you to another part of the Gino Tree taking you further north with each teleportation.  Just be careful and avoid jumping on any thorns and Spirit Flame all the purple thorns so that you can safely make your way through.

Sloving the First Puzzle

The first puzzle you will encounter inside the Ginso Tree will be in a room with one fire spitting plant, four glowing hollow teleportation logs and two redirect tree trunks that you can grab and push around.First Ginso Tree Puzzle First you must enter the hollow log to the south east that will teleport you to the location of the first tree trunk.  Push the tree trunk off the ledge and directly under the fire spitting plant.  The fireball it shoots will be redirected at the weakened tree bark to the south west of its location and will destroy it.  The second second step will be to used the other tree trunk to the north west and place it at the location of the previous one.  This is because the fireball that is now being redirected and shot through the glowing hollow barks is now landing right at that location.  When you place the other redirect trunk there, it will redirect the fireball being fired to this spot west, straight at the location of the second weakened tree bark and will destroy it.  Now you can gain access to the glowing hollow bark behind it, which will teleport you to the section north east were you will find another glowing hollowing log.  However before you enter, be sure to create a Soul Link and save you game, a boss battle is on the next side.
